Assistant Property Manager

Job Title: Assistant Property Manager Job Type: Full-Time Location: Harrisburg, IL Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $17.00/hour Benefits (Upon Hire): Health Insurance Paid Holidays Retirement Plan Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager: Support the Project Manager with daily operations to ensure efficiency and organization Assist with public housing applications , including interviewing applicants and processing documentation Handle tenant communications, including complaints and lease enforcement Accept and process rent payments Assist with basic Accounts Receivable tasks Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; take accurate messages Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence Schedule appointments and greet visitors professionally Prepare and edit documents, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Office tools Maintain and update both paper and electronic filing systems Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Assist in preparing materials and attending Board Meetings Requirements for the Assistant Property Manager: Minimum of 2 years of office or administrative experience required Experience in property management or HUD processes preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle high-stress situations professionally Must meet background check and drug screening requirements HireLevel is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr HireLevel.
