Cath Lab RN - Fort Worth, Texas

Advance your nursing career by providing specialized care in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment. This contract opportunity involves supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures and interventional radiology, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.


Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (08:00-18:30) with potential flexibility to start as early as 07:00 and finish at 17:30
• No set days off
• On-call responsibilities: 1 weekend per month and 8-9 call shifts monthly (17:30-07:00)

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Demonstrated, recent experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology settings
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure during emergent procedures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster a coordinated approach to patient care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess response to interventions, and promptly identify complications
• Administer medications as needed and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient workflow
• Respond to urgent and on-call situations with professionalism and clinical expertise
• Maintain and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
