Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from illness or injury. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and promote health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for inpatient rehabilitation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and post-discharge care.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Possess at least one year of clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation or similar settings.
• Maintain current BLS certification; AHA certifications in ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Be willing to float within the hospital as required.
