Job Summary and Responsibilities: Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified or board‑eligible Endocrinologist to join our growing multispecialty group in Merced, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide outpatient and inpatient care while also playing a pivotal role in designing and developing a new solo endocrinology practice, supported by a robust referral network and a highly collaborative clinical team.
Opportunity Highlights
- Design and lead a new endocrinology practice.
- Outpatient and inpatient care for endocrine conditions including diabetes (type 1, 2, gestational), thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases.
- Diagnostic expertise: perform thyroid ultrasounds, biopsies, and imaging interpretation.
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team with family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, and nephrology.
- Patient education and lifestyle management.
- Flexible scheduling with a Monday‑Friday schedule and limited call requirements.

Job Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in endocrinology.
- California medical license (or ability to obtain) and DEA certification.
- Experience or interest in designing and developing a new endocrinology service line.
- Interest in chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to team‑based, patient‑centered care.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to the establishment of a new endocrinology practice.
