Overview As a cloud security architect, you will design and implement security architectures for critical systems, helping to secure cloud-based environments across public and private platforms. Responsibilities Develop cloud service delivery models and an architectural framework for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. Recommend tools and capabilities based on research of current environments and knowledge of on‑premise, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources to address the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Work directly with customers to ensure that standards for information assurance and security requirements are met. Collaborate with cloud security experts to advance the use of the latest cloud technologies. Qualifications Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments. Experience with Linux‑based environment administration. TS/SCI clearance. HS diploma or GED. Nice to Have Experience integrating third‑party components, introducing new custom capabilities, modifying existing code, and automating operations and maintenance tasks. Experience with Splunk, Oracle or SQL‑based platforms, and Python. Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA). AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate certifications. Bachelor’s degree. Clearance The position requires TS/SCI clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for classified information. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00–$141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and contract requirements.
