Retail Team Member - Yarmouth

Join a Maine institution built on local food, real relationships, and doing things the right way.

At Rosemont, you're not just ringing up groceries - you're helping neighbors find the best local, organic, and specialty foods Maine has to offer. If you love food, people, and community, we'd love to meet you.

Why You'll Like It Here

• Employee discount on everything in the store - including our prepared foods and bakery items
• Flexible scheduling built around your life
• A genuinely supportive team environment - we succeed together
• Room to grow: many of our managers started on the sales floor
• Work surrounded by incredible food, made and sourced right here in Maine

What You'll Do

Depending on the shift and department (grocery, deli, produce, bakery, or prepared foods), you'll :

• Greet customers and help them find what they need - with real recommendations, not a script
• Ring up purchases and handle payment accurately and efficiently
• Stock shelves, displays, and cases so our food always looks its best
• Prepare and serve items in the deli - slicing, weighing, and wrapping to order
• Keep things clean, organized, and safe for customers and teammates alike
• Jump in wherever the team needs a hand - no two shifts are exactly alike

What We're Looking For

• A team player with a positive attitude
• Strong communication and customer service instincts
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback
• A curiosity about local, organic, or specialty foods (experience in food service or retail is a plus, but not required)

The Details

This is an in-person role at one of our Rosemont Market retail locations. Shifts involve being on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs., and staying active throughout - but you'll be doing it surrounded by great food and good people. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
