Key Qualifications:

• Current ODE Paraprofessional certification required
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom assistant, or substitute teacher is highly beneficial
• Ability to foster engagement and motivate students in a virtual-led classroom
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a school setting

Position Snapshot:

• Serve onsite, working closely with high school students in a Drop Out Recovery Program
• Act as an essential bridge between students and virtual teachers, facilitating lessons and providing classroom management
• Assist with classroom activities to reinforce educational content and ensure a positive learning environment
• Monitor and report student progress and participation
• Collaborate with staff and participate in program development activities
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
