Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
Discipline: RN
Duration: Ongoing
Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
Employment Type: Per Diem

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patients with moderate to high acuity
Monitor and assess patients with cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring patient safety and quality care

Position Requirements

Role: Registered Nurse (PCU)
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
- Minimum 2 years of total RN experience
Certifications:
- Active Virginia RN License
- BLS (AHA required)
- ACLS (AHA required)

Assignment Details

Location: Norfolk, VA and surrounding areas
Schedule: Per Diem
Shift Options:
- 12-hour Day Shifts (AM)
- 12-hour Night Shifts (PM)
