Job Summary:
Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Colchester, Vermont. This role involves providing comprehensive end-of-life care, symptom management, and patient education within a community hospice setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

• Schedule: Monday to Sunday, no block schedules for any reason
• Requirements:
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior community hospice experience
  • Excellent typing skills due to narrative-heavy electronic medical records
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC (experience within past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable)
  • Ability to perform complex symptom management and education
  • Critical thinking skills for symptom assessment and management
  • Comfort initiating and participating in goals of care discussions and planning with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Medication management and administration across multiple routes (IV, Subcutaneous, oral, sublingual, rectal, etc.)
• Additional Information:
  • IVS to OFFER
  • Monday to Sunday schedule with bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) required for submission
  • Public transportation is NOT accessible; reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
