Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description: Join a dedicated team in a supportive environment focused on patient-centered care in the Labor and Delivery unit. This role involves caring for women during labor and delivery, as well as in the postpartum and nursery settings. Our team is committed to providing excellent patient experiences and utilizes advanced medical technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess the condition of patients throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist with procedures including versions, circumcisions, and C-sections.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
• Implement appropriate protocols and follow unit specific policies and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license and certifications: NRP, C-EFM, BLS.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum care is essential.
• Additional skills in LDRP Nursery/NICU are a plus.
