The program is part of our integrated, multispecialty system, working with every member in subspecialty surgery, committed to the highest outcome of every procedure we perform. In addition, our program is further augmented by our many other resources associated with our academic institution including our Institute of Population Health and the nation’s only resident healthcare leadership program. Also, the Division of Plastic Surgery is a full participant in Surgery Centers both at the Academic Medical Center & Community‑Based Hospital situated in a large cash pay population. Resident activity with the department of surgery is highly engaging at our academic flagship University Medical Center and Level I Trauma Center. Candidates are expected to have a fellowship or residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and a track record of scholarly and educational activities at the level of Associate to Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine. Working in an academic and teaching environment educating Creighton University's surgical residents and medical students and conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine. The incumbent leader will lead the growth and delivery encompassing a wide breadth of reconstructive & cosmetic surgical cases in the setting of a large established referral base within the Department of Surgery, Primary Care, and the growing Breast Cancer Surgery Center of Excellence, within a large integrated health care system.
