Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Location: Not specified Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: BLS Certification and ACLS Certification prior to first shift. Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience is highly desired. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, initiating discharge planning from the day of admission, and providing supervision of ancillary nursing personnel. Participates in patient rehabilitation programs on an assigned unit and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Ensures accurate, succinct, and timely documentation of all assessments and interventions in accordance with hospital policies. Demonstrates a focus on patient safety, infection control, and safe patient handling by adhering to all safety guidelines and promoting a safe environment. Assumes charge responsibilities after the orientation period and actively pursues professional development through continuing education.
