Maintenance Technician – Chanhassen, MN Pay Rate: $28.75 - $42.11 per hour Schedule: Monday - Wednesday + Every other Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Looking for a Maintenance Technician in Chanhassen where your technical skills keep equipment operating at its best? This opportunity allows you to troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and help maintain the systems that keep production moving safely and efficiently. Requirements Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures. Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Repair and maintain machinery including die cutters, web and sheet‑fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment. Fabricate, modify, or repair machine components using welding equipment, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop tools. Job Duties Proven experience installing, repairing, maintaining, and overhauling complex industrial machinery. Advanced knowledge of electrical controls, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs. Ability to perform precision alignments, measurements, and equipment calibrations. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications. Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, drive systems, positioning systems, and automated equipment. Strong understanding of geometry, shop mathematics, clearances, pressure, flow rates, and equipment tolerances. Ability to fabricate replacement parts and assemble specialized mechanical components.
