Job Title Aircraft Nacelles Technician – Weekend Shift (Position #1514) Job Summary Full‑time, on‑site position in Cedar Hill, TX with DAS Aviation. You will perform sheet‑metal operations—cutting, drilling, riveting, and finishing—on aircraft airframes, support Nacelle and heavy structural repairs, and maintain shop equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform basic sheet‑metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components. Apply and remove sealant, sound‑deadening, and finish materials. Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling as required. Safely operate shop equipment, including brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools relevant to sheet‑metal work. Navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases. Communicate effectively in English (speaking, writing, reading). Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Airframe and Powerplant license not required but welcome. Valid driver's licence approved for airline travel or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory). Knowledge of sheet‑metal or fabrication processes (forming, drilling, stamping, shaping, bending, punching, cutting, riveting, filing, and dimpling). 0–5 years of experience as a sheet‑metal technician (Journeyman level) or 5+ years (Master level). Team player who is self‑motivated and can work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines. Reliable transportation to the work site. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting. Routine or repetitive arm and hand motions. Climb ladders and stairs; work in small restricted areas. Stand for extended periods. Mental Requirements Understand and implement regulations and guidelines. Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation. Work with others in a professional manner. Working Conditions & Supervision Work is performed in controlled environments in industrial warehouses. Duties span multiple departments, including teardown/evaluation, Nacelle and heavy structural repairs, and light‑structure repair on components. Work under the supervision of the assigned Team Leader. Equipment Used Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic. Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
