Radiation Therapist

Radiation Therapist Summary :

MLR is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The Radiation Therapist will work closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality radiation treatments to patients, providing both technical expertise and emotional support. This is a full-time position with an opportunity for professional growth, continuous education, and attractive financial incentives.

Radiation Therapist Qualifications :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Valid state Radiation Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one

Radiation Therapist Key Responsibilities :

Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments using specialized equipment, ensuring precise delivery and patient safety.
Interpret and verify treatment plans provided by radiation oncologists, making necessary adjustments to equipment settings and patient positioning.
Perform daily quality control and safety checks on radiation equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
Document and report treatment information, including dosages and any side effects, into patient records accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with the oncology team to modify and optimize treatment plans based on patient progress and treatment response.
