Job Description We are seeking an RN or LPN - Stormont Vail West Adult & Pediatrics to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients. Stormont Vail Highlights! Magnet Recognition Trauma Level II Center Nurse Residency Program $5/Hr Weekend & $5/Hr Night Differential! Potential to make an extra $10/Hr!! Responsibilities Care for individuals across the life span who present with physical, emotional, or psychological alterations of health. Provide basic patient care and treatment. Psychiatric nurses have adapted nursing process to include components of de‑escalation skills, maintaining safety, assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of human responses when caring for patients. Educate and update patients on medical treatments. Licenses and Certifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LSBN) – A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted. Required. Registered Nurse (RN) – A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted. Required. Basic Life Support (BLS) – Must have within 90 days of hire. RQI, CPR or ACLS certifications may be required in lieu of or in addition to BLS depending on department. What you will do Collects pertinent data and information relative to the patient, situation, or setting. Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential problems, and issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation. Develops a collaborative plan encompassing strategies to achieve expected outcomes. Implements identified plan through coordination of care and employs strategies to promote health and wellness. Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
