Job Summary Equipment Mechanic – Carson City, Nevada Wasatch Electric is interviewing candidates for an Equipment Mechanic to assist with the repair and maintenance of heavy construction equipment and vehicles at the Carson City, Nevada location. Must be able to travel and be familiar with all types of construction equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with the repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered heavy equipment and vehicles. Qualifications High School Diploma Demonstrates mechanic skills/experience-specific to heavy equipment Basic hydraulics, electrical and welding skills Dependable work schedule shift Good driving record, ability to pass DOT medical exam CDL License preferred Knowledge of electric over hydraulic systems Welding capabilities Required Attributes: Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and be dependable Must have excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills Miss have high standards of quality with attention to detail Physical Demands The physical demand described here are representative of (but not all inclusive) of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
