Radiation Therapist – Mayo Clinic, Phoenix, AZ Radiation Therapist job at Mayo Clinic, Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities Provides high quality and accurate delivery of radiation to patients via linear accelerators and simulators. Displays basic knowledge of dosimetry, computer systems, and related oncology equipment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team, remains well organized, accomplishes tasks, solves problems and communicates effectively. Provides teaching instruction to Fellows, Residents, and students. Qualifications Graduation from an ARRT‑approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology. Knowledge of principles of growth and development of the lifespan. Ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient’s age‑specific needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computers. Relevant experience preferred. ARRT registration. Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Certified Therapy Technologist (CTT) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date; maintains BLS competency. Compensation $42.71 – $64.11 per hour. Schedule Full‑time; Monday‑Friday hours vary based on patient needs (6am‑11pm); weekend as needed. Benefits Medical: Multiple plan options.
