Responsible for computer system update transactions which account for all physical movement, consumption, and production of inventory. Responsible for physical counts of designated inventory items cycle counts as defined and instructed.Essential FunctionsEnsure on-time clocking and reporting to workstation.Must understand and follow all departmental safety rules this includes PPE and uniform compliance.Responsible for the moving and storage of finished goods and raw materials, as well as loading product per customer orders.Remove finished goods and raw materials from or to production lines and locations in the warehouse.Assist in shipping, receiving as needed.Safely operate all material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet moversScan and move finished goods one pallet at a time from Inbound location to specified zones in Yard location. No yard storage in the designated staging areas by the dockSkids stored in yard must be neatly and safely stacked with enough space between rows to enable label visibility for cycle counting and product identification. Like items must be consolidated every dayMove pallets quickly and efficiently within the yard.Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.Complete other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.Knowledge OfGood understanding of Forklift/Pallet mover operation and all safety proceduresGood understanding of Material Handling within a yard/shipping and warehouseAbility To/Training RequirementsEquipment emergency stops.Proper handling and inspection of forkliftsMust understand and follow all departmental safety rules.Proper use of all safety equipment: safety glasses, safety shoes, reflective vest/uniformUnderstand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)ISO sections pertaining to the position.QualificationsHave at least one year of experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility.Have at least one year of forklift experience and forklift certificationLogistics or supply chain background preferred.High school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Capacity to work overtime as needed.Physical Demands And Working ConditionsThe physical demands and working conditions requirement indicated below are examples of the demands that must be performed in carrying out the essential job functions.Physical Demands:Standing and walking (up to continuously); bend/stoop, twist neck and torso (frequently); reach, hold, grasp, push, pull, lift/carry raw material, finished product, tools and machinery up to 50 pounds (frequently); use seeing, hearing, and speaking.Working Conditions:Work indoors and outdoors exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.Job Offer Fraud AlertWe take the security of our candidates seriously.
