Among the notable recognitions, the city received gold certification as a Community for all Ages and was designated a Walk Friendly Community and Bicycle Friendly Community.The Court Clerk, under the supervision of the Court Clerk Supervisor, performs clerical duties related to processing, docketing and disposition in the municipal division within the Missouri State Court System using a court case management software. Work involves responsibility for court case processing which may require the application of independent judgment and the application of statutes, policies and regulations. Work requires frequent interaction with the public providing exceptional customer service. Work may also involve financial record keeping within the court case management software and provide support for Court Administrator and Municipal Judges.Pay: $16.92-$21.67 per hourMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required andOne year of experience in court or legal related field preferred andMust be bondableAs a court professional, you shall avoid any outside employment or business activities, that risks a conflict of interest with your official position, specifically including providing any kind of services to:Any member of the barAny law firm orAny entity that is a party to any action before the court or which regularly appears before the court.NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:Basic knowledge of the principles of business correspondence, practice of filing systems, and procedures of record keepingEfficient operation of standard office equipmentAbility to communicate effectively, verbally and in writingAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and the publicAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters handled in the course of workAbility to follow oral and written instructions, work within established routines and procedures and handle multiple priorities
