• Deliver high-level tax compliance and strategic consulting for high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates, including sophisticated estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer planning.
• Serve as the primary trusted advisor to a defined client portfolio, building deep, lasting relationships that drive retention and organic growth.
• Review and sign off on complex returns and planning memos prepared by senior associates and managers, ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery.
• Lead engagement lifecycles end-to-end scoping, budgeting, staffing, and quality control across multiple concurrent client matters.
• Mentor and develop tax staff through regular feedback, structured reviews, and hands-on coaching that builds the next generation of firm leaders.
• Expand the firm’s HNW practice by cultivating referral sources, attending professional and civic events, and identifying cross-service opportunities.
• Collaborate with partners across tax, assurance, and advisory to deliver integrated solutions to complex family wealth situations.

What you need:

• Active CPA license.
• 7 plus years of public accounting experience with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously and supervise multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and a track record of relationship-based business development.
• Proficiency with professional tax software e.g., CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters UltraTax, or equivalent.
