Our inpatient pharmacy team is comprised of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management. The team oversees medication storage, preparation, and distribution across the hospital. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders for accuracy and interactions, preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring therapy, providing evidence-based drug information, and educating patients and caregivers. Compensation & Benefits: $119,225.60 - 178,838.40 USD Annual Comprehensive benefits package supporting health, financial security, and work-life balance Retirement savings options Professional development and continuing education support Employment Type: 80 hours every 2 weeks. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm; Weekend/Holiday rotation; Occasional Mid-shift & 2nd shift 9am to 5:30pm; 1:30pm-10:00pm. Scope of Work: The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. This role ensures safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication use through participation in medication management programs and clinical initiatives. Key responsibilities include medication order review, therapeutic monitoring, clinical consultation, and oversight of medication preparation and distribution processes. The pharmacist collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy, prevent adverse events, and improve patient outcomes. This position also supports departmental initiatives such as antimicrobial stewardship, formulary management, and quality improvement. The Clinical Pharmacist supervises pharmacy technicians, participates in patient care rounds, and contributes to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services. Qualifications: Required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Michigan Preferred 1–2 years of pharmacist experience Project management experience Experience with EHR systems (Cerner, Epic) Holland Hospital is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
