VP of Logistics and Distribution

: The Vice President - Logistics and Distribution is responsible for establishing and leading the distribution and logistics strategy and overseeing supply chain operations for the ready-to-drink manufacturing facility in Conway, AR. This role is responsible for strategic initiatives, tactical day-to-day management, and continuous improvement of supply chain and 3PL operations. This includes forecasting, demand planning, cost, contractual agreements, performance metrics, audits, and achieving optimum efficiency and profitability. The position will manage supply chain relationships and work collaboratively with vendors, site leaders, internal business partners, and key customer contacts. The role will assist in the strategy and direction of IT infrastructure to support operations. This position reports to the EVP - Manufacturing Job Responsibilites:

• Develop and implement overall supply chain strategy, operations, partnerships, and automation/technology to support 3 separate lines of business: ready-to-drink Conway operations, single serve coffee business operations and an independent customer fulfillment distribution business for the Company's strategic, operational, and annual growth plans.
• Oversee 3PL logistics and vendor relationships with suppliers, carriers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain operations. Ensure proper inventory storage and distribution capabilities.
• Establish and manage logistics and distribution processes including vendor selection, route planning, scheduling, policies, practices, safety, and compliance to ensure most efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Implement and manage contracts with vendors to include cost and performance expectations, establish key performance metrics, monitor achievement of performance metrics against operating plans, and create feedback loop to report performance.
• Identify operational issues, coordinate cross-functionally and with vendors to develop solutions, create action plans, and communicate issue resolution to key stakeholders.
• Create business partnerships to proactively communicate updates, current and potential problems and opportunities, and performance data to senior management, sales, marketing, customer service, IT, and finance.

Requirements: Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, MIS, or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
• 12-15 years of progressive leadership in logistics operations management, operations management, management of manufacturing operational process improvements, and/or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience developing and implementing supply chain strategies and tactics that drive business results.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, distribution, and logistics best practices, current and evolving trends, performance metrics, and financial management.
• Analytical skills and ability to measure and report data relevant to performance, efficiency, and profitability.
• Demonstrated experience exhibiting sound and accurate judgement and making sound decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with ability to establish and maintain effective business partnerships with senior leaders, vendors, site and department leaders, and to work with employees at all levels.
