Relocation assistance available.Schedule: 8am-8pmPay: $65.00 to $77.00Position SummaryThe Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, ensuring compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. The Pharmacist maintains accurate records, oversees pharmacy technicians, and promotes safe and effective medication use. Must hold an active pharmacist license in the state of practice.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage requirements.Assess prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and potential drug interactions.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient medication therapy.Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns.Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and control of medications.Ensure compliance with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy regulations and all applicable federal and state laws.
