Dental Hygienist - Toupin Dental & Associates Toupin Dental and Associates in Novi, MI, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our friendly and loyal team! - Conduct patient screenings, including oral health assessments, health history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, and vital signs
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
- Follow office protocols for quality assurance, infection control, emergency procedures, implants, perio programs, and preventive care
- Demonstrate proficiency in dental prophylaxis, including the use of Cavitron/Prophy Jet
- Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluorides
- Make impressions for study casts as needed
- Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutritional counseling, and oral care techniques
- Foster a caring and respectful environment, addressing patients' needs and concerns
- Perform periodontal charting and document treatment
- Maintain a sterile, organized working environment and properly stock supplies and equipment
- Support overall patient care while promoting positive patient/staff rapport
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of applicable computer functions and assist with recall systems
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
