Position Summary


Under general supervision, provide technical installation, operation and maintenance of University Campus plumbing and pipe fitter work as it relates to general buildings plumbing and piping systems and those systems characteristics to a college academic multi-building environment while complying with State and National Codes and Regulations.

Responsibility Area:
Install and Repair Plumbing Systems


Duties:


Installing and repair of plumbing systems which include but not limited to potable water systems, drains, waste, and vent systems and associated equipment, low pressure steam lines and traps, chilled water lines, fire hydrants, and backflow preventers.

Duties:


May be required to assist in the repairs of fire protection, domestic water mains distribution lines, and respond to natural gas leaks.

Minimum of 5 years-experience in the installation plumbing industry working for a company performing similar services required by UNO

Required License/Certification

• Valid City of Omaha Journeyman Plumbers License or Uniform Plumbing Code Journeyman License
• Backflow Certification
• Valid Drivers License
