Introduction Our client is a well-established animal clinic located in Yorktown, VA, seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join their growing and dedicated team. This full-service hospital provides high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care to pets across the local community and beyond. With a brand-new, custom-built 9,000 sq. ft. facility and a strong mentorship culture, this is an outstanding opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their clinical and leadership skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The schedule offers flexibility with full-time and part-time options, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, ensuring a predictable and supportive working structure. Role Description and Responsibilities As an Associate Veterinarian at the hospital, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to small animal patients. Clinical duties include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostics, geriatric medicine, and surgery, with the opportunity to tailor your caseload to your interests. You'll be encouraged to grow clinically through mentorship, advanced CE opportunities, and collaboration with experienced doctors. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a hands-on, team-oriented setting. Practice Details The clinic operates from a brand-new, state-of-the-art 9,000 sq. ft. facility, designed to optimize patient care and team efficiency. The hospital is fully equipped to provide comprehensive services, including dentistry, surgery, dermatology, diagnostics, geriatric care, preventative medicine, and wellness programs.
