• License/Certs: VA Medical License, BLS
• Experience: Prior inpatient and consult coverage experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient care at Stafford Hospital and Mary Washington Healthcare, Fredericksburg
• Manage inpatient admissions and ongoing care
• Cover new inpatient consults during scheduled hours
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Take call for new inpatient consults as scheduled
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in hospital EMRs
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care

What You Need:

• Valid Virginia medical license in Internal Medicine or Infectious Disease
• BLS certification
• Prior experience with inpatient care and consults in a hospital setting
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Experience with infectious disease cases or immunocompromised patient populations
