About the Clinician's Workday

The DNP will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in an on-site operating room setting, assisting surgeons during operative cases throughout each assigned coverage period. Weekday OR operations run from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with call and 24-hour call coverage required as a condition of this assignment. Weekend call responsibilities include rounding and serving as first call. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the Epic EMR system.
