The organization partners with municipalities and government agencies to install, maintain, and support advanced traffic-monitoring and automated safety systems, including red-light, speed, and roadway camera technology.We are seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 8–12 field service technicians supporting electronic and electromechanical traffic-safety systems throughout the region.This is a hands-on leadership position combining team supervision, field support, technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, scheduling, reporting, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate will have previous field service leadership experience, a strong technical background, and the flexibility to travel throughout the assigned region.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, train, and support a team of approximately 8–12 field service techniciansParticipate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actionsAssign daily service calls and schedule technicians according to system priorities and client needsConduct daily system checks and monitor system performance, preventative maintenance completion, and uptimeEnsure service levels and system availability meet contractual requirementsSpend approximately 50% of the workweek traveling throughout the region to provide onsite field supportTroubleshoot electrical, electronic, hardware, software, and system-related issuesDevelop, maintain, and improve preventative maintenance proceduresProvide regular operational, service, and performance-status reportsManage department expenses, staffing levels, overtime, and technician hoursMonitor parts and equipment inventory and submit required monthly inventory reportsTrain, evaluate, and provide technical guidance to field service employeesApprove employee timecards, travel requests, and business expensesPromote a safe, accountable, and customer-focused work environmentPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of two years of field service supervisory or team-lead experienceDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and evaluate technical employeesStrong electrical, electronic, or electromechanical troubleshooting experienceAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematicsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelComfortable working outdoors and providing hands-on support in the fieldHigh school diploma or GED required; technical education or certification is a plusAdditional RequirementsValid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle record, and reliable transportationAbility to successfully complete required drug and background screeningsAbility to travel throughout the region, including on short notice when necessaryFlexibility to work occasional evenings, overnight shifts, or adjusted hours based on operational needsBenefitsBenefit options are available with employee contributions and may include:Medical insuranceHealth Savings AccountDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsLife insuranceRetirement planAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
