Insolvency Associate

Position Overview We have an immediate opening in our Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston or Phoenix office for an Insolvency Associate with a minimum of four years of experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with creditors’ rights, commercial bankruptcy, workouts, receiverships, judicial and equitable foreclosures, and restructurings. In addition, experience with all aspects of litigation, including pre‑judgment relief and post‑judgment collections, is strongly preferred. The position will require significant in‑person hearing and trial appearances and related travel. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit. Qualifications The candidate must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, comfort with rapid deadlines, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. Compensation and Benefits We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401K and much more. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Colorado and Illinois only is $225,000 to $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
