About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director, Global Program Leader to join their Research and Development team. This senior strategic leadership role is pivotal in the development, execution, and governance of in vivo CAR-T programs. The successful candidate will be the single point of accountability for leading cross-functional teams and defining integrated global development strategies. Key responsibilities include leading the overall strategy and execution of in vivo CAR-T programs, developing and maintaining global development plans, driving portfolio decision-making, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The role also involves leading global clinical development and registration strategies, fostering collaboration among various functions, and representing the company in external interactions. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role managing complex, global development programs. A strong background in advancing biologics, cell therapies, gene therapies, or other advanced therapeutic programs is essential, with a preference for experience in oncology, immunology, or related fields. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global drug development, strong strategic thinking, and portfolio management capabilities, and the ability to influence senior leaders. The role requires outstanding communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to lead diverse global teams and achieve ambitious development goals.
