Quality Engineer - Construction

Construction Quality Engineer Pay: $55-60/hr. 12 Month Assignment. Mon-Fri. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Required) 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the construction industry (Required) Experience with Life Science, GMP, or clean room projects (Required) Familiarity with ISO 9001 Ability to read and navigate engineering drawings and models Duties The position will mainly be responsible for ensuring the quality of construction processes and materials used in projects. The position involves monitoring, assessing, and approving the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, code requirements, and safety regulations. The position will develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for assigned construction projects. The position will conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with approved design, quality standards, and specifications. The position will review and approve quality control documentation including test plans, inspection reports, and material submittals. The position will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. The position will conduct root cause analysis for quality failures and recommend preventative measures. The position will prepare and maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for project stakeholders. The position will provide training and guidance to project staff on quality assurance and quality control processes.
