Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Job Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This role ensures work orders, preventive maintenance, and parts availability are aligned to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance work orders through a CMMS system.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and assign work to technicians.
• Ensure all work orders are properly documented, executed, and closed.
• Maintain accurate equipment history, maintenance records, and reports.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Track maintenance requests and prioritize work based on production needs.
• Manage spare parts inventory, track usage, and ensure availability of critical components.

Essential Skills

• Experience using CMMS systems like Fiix, SAP, or similar.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and support a fast-paced production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment operates on a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM day shift from Monday to Friday, with possible Saturday or occasional work. The facility can be slightly dusty due to the nature of the operation. While it is not climate-controlled, it is clean and well-maintained. The team-oriented environment consists of eight technicians and includes potential overtime on one Saturday a month. Employees must wear a hair net or hat, steel toe shoes, and safety glasses.

This is a Permanent position based out of Monticello, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
