APPLY TODAY! GSA Staffing is currently hiring for the bottling line at a food production facility in Sandston, VA. 1st shift is available immediately, 4am to 4pm. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour.
Job Description:
- Work in an environment of high allergens (soy, wheat, peanut, sesame, and mustard)
- Packaging of Soy Sauce and other Seasonings Inspecting, weighing, labeling and packing of various food products
- Attendance and Dependability is Critical
- Perform duties while standing for extended periods of time
- Lift 50 pounds using safe lifting practices
- Perform housekeeping duties, keeping area clean at all times, utilizing down time to clean in, around, and under all equipment.
- Must be able to walk, stand and lift various products for the duration of the shift
- Be able to verbally communicate to team leads and peers
- Intermediate Computer skills
- Be willing to learn how to change over and operate the equipment
- Be willing to learn company products and variety of labeling
- Able to Multi Task
- Flexible to work in different Areas as required.
- Ensure products are inspected and quality procedures are being followed.
- Follow all Safety and GMP Procedures.
- Meet Daily Production goals
Requirements to be considered for this job:
- Must have a minimum of 1 Year Food/Production Experience
- Able to bend, lift, stand up to 12 hours
- Steel toe or composite toe shoes are required
- Must be able to attend orientations and client walk thru
- Willing and able to work overtime if required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay starting at $17.00 per hour.
