Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Job Description Type: Non-Exempt Anticipated Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm Position Overview: As a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide critical nursing care to terminally ill patients in the comfort of their homes. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, administering medications, providing emotional support, and ensuring that patients receive high-quality, dignified end-of-life care. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and family members to create a supportive environment for patients during their final stages of life Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current unrestricted Washington State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
2. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements.
3. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations.
4. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
5. Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS)
6. 2 years of nursing experience
7. Ability to report to the assigned work location(s) as scheduled and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
2. Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak, read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.

Compensation Hiring Range: $31.10 - $37.20 per hour $3,000 Sign-On Bonus: New hires are eligible to receive a $3,000 bonus upon successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment in good standing. Premiums:

• 2.50/hour Weeknight
• 2.25/hour Weekend day
• 4.75/hour Weekend Night
• 4.00/hour On Call Standby
