Service Porter

Transdev in Augusta, GA is seeking a Service Porter to provide operational oversight, day-to-day management, and assist service employees in safe daily operation. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $16.00 - $19.00/ hour

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

• Sick days: 5 days

• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior

• Move vehicles in building and lot, and deliver vehicles to Vendor locations and fuel & inspection stations

• Maintain vehicle lot records

• Building supplies inventory

• Clean and maintain building interior and exterior

• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level

• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
