This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: Transporter is responsible for performing patient transports and patient transfers using the appropriate equipment while adhering to safe patient handling policies and procedures. Position is also responsible for picking up and delivering specimens, patient care items, visitors between patient care units and other ancillary departments. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certifications: American Heart Association BLS- CPR Other skills/knowledge: Basic computer knowledge PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
