Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients Valid ASCP or AMT certification required In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech BLS certification Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related field required. Prior clinical laboratory experience required to work independently on a solo shift. Must meet all guidelines required under CLIA 88. Must be able to return to work within 15 minutes. Assignment Details 10-hour shifts. 40 hours per week. Routine on-call coverage required two to three shifts per week for emergency lab services. Additional on-call availability required three to four shifts per week to accommodate coworker illness, crisis, or vacations.
