Medical Assistant IIWe are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant II to provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for patient care and plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered service. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance.Responsibilities:Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, delivering excellent customer servicePerform clinical duties including:Taking vital signsAdministering injectionsCollecting specimens and drawing bloodPerforming basic diagnostic testsPreparing exam rooms and sterilizing equipmentGather and document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)Assist physicians and nurses in delivering direct patient carePerform administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and data entryMaintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsSupport a high-volume environment with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalismRequired Qualifications:2+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience in a clinical (back-office) settingActive Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)Current CPR certificationExperience working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer proficiency, including Outlook and EMR systemsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentWillingness to participate in required health screeningsPreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentBilingual abilitiesHands-on phlebotomy experienceExperience with electronic medical records systemsFamiliarity with HEDIS measuresAdditional certifications such as Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
