Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely while providing outpatient services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, tailoring treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful progress in clients’ mental health journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, fostering a greater understanding and support system.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, addressing both mental and physical health needs.

• Stay current with emerging research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic practices and client care.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve therapeutic effectiveness.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting the importance of mental health care and reducing stigma in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Renewed Roots Mental Health, you will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will involve providing therapeutic support that addresses the unique challenges these clients face, helping them to achieve stability, resilience, and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
