Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Altium Designer
Location: Chicago, IL
Permanent/Direct Hire
Pay range: $120,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics using Altium Designer.
- Perform schematic capture and maintain design documentation.
- Participate in hardware architecture, component selection, and circuit design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development.
- Generate and review engineering documentation, BOMs, and manufacturing packages.
- Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and design verification.
- Interface with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve hardware-related issues.
- Assist with PCB layout reviews and provide design input to optimize performance and manufacturability.
- Support products through the full lifecycle, from concept through production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of electrical or electronics design experience.
- Strong proficiency with Altium Designer .
- Experience with schematic design and schematic capture .
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic hardware.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
