Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Tele

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg Tele unit. This position entails providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, predominantly in a surgical setting.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Med/Surg Tele
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Minimum of 4 per month
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Ability to assist in other units as needed (rarely occurs)
• Patient Ratios: 5:1

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Required Education: Current nursing license

• Number of Beds: 15
• Equipment: GE
• EHR: Medhost
• Supervisor: Director of Inpatient Services

Preferred Skills and Personality Fit

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Skilled in the care of surgical patients
• Preferred Skillset: Experience in a stepdown unit and ability to read/interpret telemetry strips
• Type of Patients on Unit: Primarily geriatric patients
• Personality Fit: Must possess a positive attitude and work effectively within a team environment, even with limited resources
