Job Overview A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate attorney to join their Global Franchise and Distribution practice in Raleigh, NC. This role involves handling all aspects of franchising and distribution, including disputes, transactions, and regulatory compliance. The position is open to any of the firm's offices. Duties Assist with franchise and distribution disputes, mediation, litigation, and arbitration. Develop and structure franchise and distributor programs. Assess and counsel on franchise contract and relationship issues. Draft franchise disclosure documents and franchise agreements. Litigate and negotiate supply contracts and other transactions. Perform state registrations and manage international development and cross-border transactions. Requirements At least 2+ years of experience in franchise and distribution law. Experience in a law firm or similar environment. Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support a national practice. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of intended practice. Skills High level of academic achievement.
