Trade Compliance Manager The Woodlands, TX, United States | req29500 Linde Engineering North America LLC What you will enjoy doing Act as subject matter expert for U.S. trade compliance (Customs, Import/Export, Export Controls) Advise internal stakeholders on U.S. customs regulations, trade programs, and compliance risks Support the development and continuous improvement of trade compliance policies, procedures, and controls Evaluate regulatory changes and communicate implications to affected stakeholders Support internal and external audits, assessments, and compliance reviews Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives Perform and validate HTS classification and country of origin determinations for all relevant equipment of an EPC company Ensure compliant import and export transactions in accordance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other applicable authorities Support duty, tax, and fee calculations, including preferential trade programs where applicable Manage, oversee, and evaluate customs brokers and service providers in the U.S. Review and maintain customs documentation, entry summaries, and audit‑relevant records Perform post‑entry reviews, corrections, and reconciliations as required Support Export Control and Dual‑Use compliance, including license determinations where applicable Maintain trade compliance data in relevant compliance and authority systems Serve as point of contact for internal trade compliance questions from logistics, procurement, and project teams Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations including 19 CFR, CBP entry procedures, reconciliation processes, and post‑summary corrections (PSC) Assess and implement duty‑saving opportunities (e.g., Foreign Trade Zones, bonded warehousing, temporary imports) What Makes You Great Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, Law, or a related field Several years of experience in U.S. trade compliance, customs, or international logistics Strong knowledge in U.S. Customs regulations and procedures, HTS classification and origin rules, import/export documentation and broker management, Export Control / Dual‑Use regulations Experience with ERP systems and customs/compliance tools Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset Why you will love working with us Linde Engineering Americas (LEA) is part of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc, a single‑source technology, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm focused on providing innovative solutions to customers.
