Conduct comprehensive evaluations for individuals spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing standardized testing and observational methods.
Create tailored treatment strategies that focus on both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting aspects such as communication, language development, fluency, and swallowing mechanics.
Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to design holistic care plans.
Provide vital education to patients and families to sustain progress beyond therapy sessions.
Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure overall continuity in patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Commit to ongoing professional growth through continuing education and collaborative mentorship.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be secured within 30 days of employment.
Demonstrated aptitude in evidence-based approaches across all age brackets, along with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech and language disorders.
Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Versatile in adapting therapeutic modalities to address diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols.
