Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized technical support in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, assisting cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all catheterization activities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment to support cardiac procedures.
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular interventions.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedural supplies.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any emerging clinical needs.
• Document procedures, patient data, and equipment usage accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold Maryland or equivalent Epic badge or certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cath lab equipment and sterile techniques.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
