Compensation: Pay per mile: 60 CPM On Duty Hourly rate: $25 Additional Pay: Layover pay: $40 per night, in sleeper Loading/Unloading pay: $25/Standard hourly rate Detainment pay: $16.50/hr Paid semi-monthly/can be via direct deposit or pay card Benefits & Perks Great company benefits starting 30 days after employment Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options Life insurance 401K Paid time off (PTO) 30% discount at the Alexandre Family Farm store Paid training Home Time, Route and Schedule Home Time: Every Other Night, Reset at Home weekly 5-6 Days / week, Flexible Route: regional Northern, CA and Oregon Start time: varies Level of touch: varies Equipment Equipment will be assigned based on route 2021 or 2024 model year trucks 5-axle flatbed (single and double), cattle, reefer, end dump, and tank trailers Manual or automatic transmission Qualifications Must have valid CDL A license Must be at least 23 years old Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience Must have experience driving a truck with manual transmission Tank Endorsement required within 6 months of hire Doubles endorsement required within 6 months of hire No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3-year period No more than 2 accidents within a 3-year period Pre-employment DOT Drug and Alcohol Screening required Current Medical Examiner's Certificate Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language Successful candidates will be subject to a DOT pre-employment drug screen as well as motor vehicle and employment reference checks Must live within 75 miles of Smith River, CA
