Quality Inspector

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using a variety of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators, and have a strong ability to read and interpret prints, particularly GD&T. Effective communication skills are essential to convey quality needs within the work area professionally.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and gages to perform quality inspections.
• Conduct inspections of steel or metal products.
• Perform visual inspections and final inspections to ensure product quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately, with a strong understanding of GD&T.
• Communicate quality requirements effectively to colleagues in different work areas.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection and quality control using tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Three years of experience in a manufacturing quality role.
• Ability to perform visual inspections and final inspections accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of quality inspection experience.

Work Environment

This role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to handle tools. Employees must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. The work environment is dynamic and may require climbing stairs, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing to perform duties effectively.

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.88 - $24.88/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
