Works in accordance with written work procedures to produce quality product. Obtain and sustain accountability within your staff and operations.**Key Areas Of Responsibility*** Uphold all safety requirements. Organizes work by reviewing production plan requirements; preparing changeover.* Obtains materials and supplies by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Meets production requirements by following and enforcing productivity, quality, cost, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems.* Improves quality results by identifying process improvement opportunities; implementing changes. Develops human resources by orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining employees; enforcing human resource policies and procedures.* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes production and quality policy by completing related results as needed. 6s ownership and leadership.* Be a liaison between employees and senior management, providing daily performance updates, and communicating goals, results and operational observations.**Minimum Qualifications*** 3 year Supervision and Coaching experience.* High school diploma or GED equivalency required.* 3 year of experience in Process Improvement and Developing Standards.* 3 year of experience in Production Planning / Manufacturing Control Planning.* 3 year of experience in Manufacturing Methods and Procedures.**Preferred Qualifications*** Manufacturing Experience* Pressing / Printing Manufacturing Experience* Ability to Lead Teams* knowledge of 6S programs, lean manufacturing and visual factory operations* *6S and lean manufacturing knowledge.** Experience with an MRP/ERP System**Special Position Requirements*** 8 Hour shift(s)* Traditional five-day workweek (M-F)* Occasional overtime may be required* Standing or sitting for long periods of time* Lifting up to 40 pounds with a pushing and pulling motion on an intermittent basis**What We Offer**Thales provides an extensive benefits program for all full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week and their eligible dependents, including the following:•Elective Health, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Whole Group Life w/LTC, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident Insurance, Legal Plan, Identity Theft, and Pet Insurance.•Retirement Savings Plan after 30 days of employment with a company contribution and a match, and with no vesting period.•Company paid holidays and Paid Time Off.•Company provided Life Insurance.**Why Join Us?**Say HI and learn more about working at Thales *click here*#LI-Onsite#LI-PD1This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
